“This stage requires a great deal of self-discipline: our greatest adversary can be ourselves if we do not face it with due care… just be careful.

The anxiety of feeling the ocean just around the corner, can lead us to unnecessary mistakes. and on the seventh day of the race, we’re no longer physically so available as before. Don’t be fooled by the first 60% of the stage: the final kilometres can be brutal if you haven’t fed and hydrated well.”
